Spray Painted Bottle Vase Tutorial

A while back I spray painted the inside of some vintage style coke bottles, I chose to spray paint the inside of them as they had no printed markings on the front and I wanted to achieve a milk glass style effect and keep the integrity of the vintage style bottles. This time I used modern glass coke bottles which have white printing on the front so instead of spraying on the inside I spray painted the outside...

I currently am storing them inside my bottle carrier inside my summer house. Next Spring and Summer I plan to fill them with freshly cut flowers from the garden and use them to decorate my garden tables etc when entertaining. I might even wrap the ends with wire or string and hang them for a pretty hanging floral display...

    Start by ensuring your bottles are clean and dry.

    Step 2

    To get an even coat of paint, sweep the can horizontally and vertically past the bottles as you spray. For the best finish, apply several thin coats of paint.
