Fabric Covered Button Bobby Pins Tutorial

Before Christmas when I was making my littlest niece Phoebe's collection I made her lots of DIY hair slides and bobby pins in an assortment of styles. I loved how cute they turned out that I decided to make a bunch for all my nieces to match their collections. As I had used lots of fabric covered buttons in Molly's 'Pretty Pastel' collection it made sense to make some of her bobby pins using matching fabric covered buttons. They are super easy and quick to make !

To make them even cuter I later painted the slide part of the bobby pins in matching coloured nail polish. It works really well giving them a hard protective shiny pop of colour!
