Beaded spiderweb tutorial

Today I am adding the finishing touches to my dining room Halloween decor for our Halloween party later this week and then I need to carry on baking and creating more Halloween sweet treats. But in the meantime...

I wanted to share with you my beaded spiderweb tutorial inspired by the pretty dew filled spiderwebs you find outside.

I have used the wire snowflake frames before to make pretty snowflakes and love how easy they are to use. Perfect for easy to make beaded spiderwebs, here's how...

How-to step by step

  • Beaded spiderweb tutorial

    Step 1

    Start by threading beads onto the wire form in the desired sequence. I used 4 small bugle beads, one round glass bead, 4 small bugle beads, one round glass bead, 4 small bugle beads, one round glass bead, 4 small bugle beads, one round glass bead, 4 small bugle beads, one round glass bead, 3 small bugle beads and one round glass bead.

    Step 2

    Anchor the beads in place by twisting the wire end into a loop with pliers.

    Step 3

    Repeat above steps till all spokes on the frame are full of beads.

    Step 4

    Attach wire to 1 spoke of the frame, wrapping it between two beads on the spoke.

    Step 5

    Slide beads onto the wire in desired sequence. I used only small bugle beads.

    Step 6

    Wrap wire to next spoke on the frame, wrapping it between two beads on the spoke.

    Step 7

    Slide beads onto the wire in desired sequence and wrap wire to next spoke on the frame, wrapping it between two beads on the spoke.

    Step 8

    Continue above steps till you have created a circle of beads.Finish off by wrapping wire to spoke on the frame, wrapping it between two beads on the spoke. Cut off loose end.

    Step 9

    Repeat above steps till you have created desired amount of circles.
