Clematis Montana 'Elizabeth'
Once I have finished working on cutting my new borders and putting up my new garden structures I am planning on finishing off my new garden design by working out what I will be planting in the borders. So I am continuing to document what is already growing in my garden...
I had this pretty Clematis Montana 'Elizabeth' in a pot at our old house, I brought it with us when we moved and planted it to the side of the Sumer house. It is doing so well and before long I hope to train it over the roof.
"It has sweetly scented, large, soft pink flowers with golden-yellow centres in May and June and purple-flushed, mid-green leaves. This fast-growing clematis is excellent for training over a pergola or covering an unsightly wall or fence in a north-facing site."
