Pretty Colourful Easter Palette

After much deliberation and playing around with a few ideas I finally settled on my Easter colour palette for this year. All inspired by my pretty bird print napkins from H&M that I bought a while ago...

Originally I was planning on a mint and lilac coloured Easter palette as I am dying to use my dip dye tablecloth I dyed last year. So my inspiration began with me buying the cute felt bunny garland from Waitrose which was in a pretty duck egg blue, which I knew would match the tablecloth, then I was inspired by a little dusky pink paper covered box with a little bird and nest on so I changed my mind and was thinking of doing a pale dusky rose and duck egg blue Easter. Then last Friday I received a package from Tala that contained some lovely bright yellow and white cupcake cases, which got me thinking that adding yellow would be good and that way I could use daffodils from my garden as the flowers. Then I had a eureka moment and went through my paper napkin collection where I found my pretty bird napkins, my mind was made up! I would use the napkins as my inspiration and I could also use some of the napkins to make decoupage eggs, so yesterday I defined the colour palette using Pantone chips and love it! Now I need to get my craft and bake on...
