Last Thursday I had the pleasure of going to the Tesco Living Home & Garden Spring/Summer 2015 Press Show. So today I wanted to give you a sneak peak at some of my favourite trends and pieces...
"Whatever your style, size of the space or budget, you'll be spoilt for choice and ideas with Tesco's brand new spring summer collection. Weave warmth and personality into blank spaces with an abundance of new trends, all of which offer design driven quality without the price tag."
Tesco Living Home & Garden had four distinct trends. My favourite being Modern Romance.
"Pastels are here to stay for spring'15 but this season's palette is bolder and more impactful for a refreshed romantic vibe with an edge. Photographic prints and chalky tones have been teamed with flashes of black to capture the very essence of this picture perfect look"
Key materials include two tone velvets, linear lace and fabrics with a pearlescent finish. Embellishments like iridescent sequins and beading add to the luxe vintage factor. Prints include painterly florals and vintage treated photographic florals.
My favourite pieces from this collection were the matte pastel rococo dining set, grey faceted glass candles and handmade pink glass bobble tumbler.
Other trends included...
"Inject a hint of the Wild West into your home this summer. With layers of desert hues and rugged textures, this season's ranch chic is easy living at it's most stylish. Twinned with burnished leathers, cool cottons and patchwork prints, this is a look that is sure to be well loved and lived-in"
Key materials include textured cottons, burnt velvet and woven prints. Prints include painted abstracts, subtle ombre, flower brush strokes, meadow flowers and geometric prints.
I loved the grey and sulphur yellow Marseille metal dining chairs and white with grey etched serveware.
"A whole host of fun and colour arrives with the graphic, retro inspired Mid Century collection. A colour palette of zesty lemon, pale woods and pops of blue and red make this range really stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons"
Key prints included retro birds, typography, geometrics and broken coloured stripes. Materials like enamel and intense coloured glass add to the retro factor.
My favourite pieces included the block coloured chevron cushions and
"You don't have to live by the ocean to immerse yourself in a sparkling palette of glistening turquoise, cobalt and seafoam. Dive into this cool, contemporary range of indoor and outdoor accessories, and you'll be azure-d of a look that's perfect for summer"
Key materials include shell, sequins, reflective surfaces and metallic knits. Oceanic prints of photographic images, damask and water colours give this trend a breezy look.
My favourite pieces were the shimmery teal organic washed glass plates, dip dyed salad servers and Malmo white legged oak stool.
Tesco Living Home & Garden also had a wonderful array of pretty gardening pieces and bright tropical deck chairs and outdoor entertaining wares.
