Hello lovelies! I hope you had a lovely weekend!
Before I go full swing in to sharing my Christmas holiday decorations and decor I have been working on this past weekend. I wanted to show you a sneak peek at the gorgeous new Cath Kidston Spring Summer 2015 collection that I saw last week at the Cath Kidston Spring Summer 2015 press show.
The show was entitled 'A Breath of Fresh Air' and was inspired by Cath's Cotswold home in the heart of the countryside. The cheerful collection was ful of bright bold new colours, denim staples and eclectic rik rak trims.
It was split into five stories, starting with 'Clouds' which included a lovely print of white clouds, fresh blues skies, with bright yellow sunspots accented with neon pink trims which looked really new and fresh. I especially loved the Spring scarf in the cloud print and was over the moon when I was given one in my goodie bag! Other cloud printed items included lampshades, bags, dresses, sewing box and stationary. Also new to Cath Kidston a whole host of bicycle accessories from seat covers to reflective rainwear and handlebar covers.
Next up was 'Beacon View', which included a sweet countryside print of rolling hills, valleys and wildlife complete with rainbow and farm house printed on tea sets and dresses. A mini hexagonal patchwork print of spots and rainbow bright solids printed on bags and in collaboration with Gola, funky new trainers. My favourite items were the plain white ceramic cake stand, butter dish and jars adorned with Caths new dog Billie.
'Farmyard' had fun jumpers adorned with felt farmyard animals reminiscent of the fuzzy felt game I played with as a kid, dark wash patch jeans, cute sheep tea cosies, wicker printed bags and farmyard printed crockery.
'Tulips & Ric Rac' had a lovely new tulip print that was mixed with rik rac detailing on plates and cups with co-ordinating rik rak printed champagne glasses. An adorable ric rac skirt and dress.
'River Fish', inspired by the wildflowers, and local fish swimming along the banks of Paradise Valley had a blooming daisy print on slip on shoes, backpacks and dresses. A fun river fish print used on towels, wash bags, aprons and platters to name a few.
The new collection will be available from January 2015, I can't wait!
