Peach Panna cotta recipe

Today I wanted to share with you a quick and easy recipe to make peach Panna Cotta. I made mine to sit on my sparkling peach and mint Christmas dessert table. But you could easily serve them any time of the year. I made mini ones which I served in shot glasses...

Method

Panna cotta

  1. Place cream, milk and sugar in a small saucepan and gently bring to the boil

  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract

  3. Add the gelatin leaf into cream mixture and stir until gelatine dissolves

  4. Pour mixture into jars or shot glasses and leave to set in the fridge

Peach jelly

  1. Place peach puree and sugar in a small saucepan and gently bring to the boil

  2. Remove from heat and add just the gelatin leaf into peach mixture and stir until gelatine dissolves

  3. Leave to cool for 10 mins

To decorate

  1. Pour over the top of the chilled panna cotta and leave in fridge to set

Ingredients

Panna cotta

  • 350ml double cream

  • 150ml milk

  • 30g caster sugar

  • 1 gelatine leaf

  • 1 tbsp vanilla (extract)

Peach jelly

  • 100g peaches (pureed)

  • 1 gelatine leaf (soaked in water)

  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
