Chocolate buttons

Last Friday I went to the fabulous launch party for The Maker's Atelier, the brand new home of the most stylish dressmaking patterns and unique making-experiences.

"Frances Tobin started The Maker’s Atelier because she loves designing and making clothes. After training as a fashion and textiles designer, she went on to work for many leading brands in Italy, the US and the UK. The patterns Frances has created for The Maker's Atelier are influenced by current fashion trends."

As a little gift for the lovely Frances, I made some chocolate buttons to match The Maker's Atelier chic button branding.

  1. Temper (melt) your white chocolate in a bain marie or on a low heat in the microwave.

  2. Spoon melted chocolate in to the mould

  3. Lightly tap moulds on a hard surface so chocolate lays flat and air bubbles are removed, and leave to set

  4. When fully set, push buttons from mold.

  5. Repeat above steps with the milk chocolate.
