The book is split into three four chapters, starting with "Tinkering Sundries", a section of projects based on small, miscellaneous things you might just have handy at home like matchboxes, clothespins or wooden craft sticks. Projects include a treasured box and frame made of craft sticks, pretty clothespins and the cutest little drawers made of matchstick boxes.
The second chapter "Tinkering Supplies", is full of projects that add flair to even the smallest of items. Projects include tinkered tiles, pretty tags, whimsical magnetic petits fours and the cutesy cupcake flags and bunting.
In the third chapter "Tinkering recyclables" Elyse shows us how to up-cycle overlooked items like tin cans, glass jars and . Projects include a sweet desk tidy, the prettiest bottle-cap magnets, a cute canning jar pincushion and the most adorable place holders.
