Pretty Pastel Collection & Inspiration

Today I am sharing the inspiration and designs behind my eldest niece Molly's pretty pastel collection I made for her this past Christmas...

I had a bunch of pretty Tilda fat quarters in my fabric stash that I bought just because I loved them and after playing about with them I decided to use four of them for Molly's collection. Molly is six years old and loves all things creative from baking and sewing with Nana to crafting with Auntie Torie, she also loves going out on her bike with Daddy and shopping with her Mummy and playing games on her i-pad. So for Molly's collection I decided to make her a pretty pom pom trim bag that could carry all her new sewn gifts like the coin purse, i-pad case and of course a pretty pencil case that I filled with pretty pencils and stationery. I also decided to make some pretty bobby pins using covered buttons from scraps of fabric leftover from my sewing makes.

Later this week I will be sharing the step by step tutorials!
